3月27日消息，据国外媒体报道，已有1100多个社区与谷歌接触，希望加入谷歌超高速宽带网络计划。
谷歌上个月表示，将建立实验性光纤网络，向50万美国人提供1GB/秒的网络连接，比目前大多数美国家庭宽带网络快300倍。
周五是美国政府和公民表达兴趣的截至日期。谷歌称，社区可以利用从YouTube视频到Facebook群组等多种方式宣传自己。谷歌将在今年年底宣布获胜者。
